In this scenario, the visual communication gives rise to new languages, expressions and meanings. The difference lies in the passage from text form to graphics, an icon or image used to communicate meanings understandable globally. Just think to social networks like Pinterest or Instagram to realize how the Internet today has become richer of images than words.
Increasingly abused in digital conversations, the emoji made their bully broke into reality. Hard to find someone who is not familiar with the colored smileys, whose use is sensational growth in the world and in every social class. Synthesizing a complex sensation to explain with words with a single symbol is indeed convenient and effective; even if by doing so, we share a linguistic revolution, where the same words not have stalled the rise of emoji.
