Nowadays cockatail time is necessary to a lot of Italian people. It is the perfect time of day to see friends and enjoy themselves after a long working day. Yet this rite exquisitely Italian, it is often demonized as harmful to the line.

The aperitif must be light, so alcohol is banned, whereas fruit juices are better, accompanied with a light snack like a bruschetta. Only thus can the metabolism is stimulated without overloading the digestive system.
Eye also to the frequency: the aperitif must be seen as an exception and certainly not as a habit, otherwise it is actually harmful to the line in the long run also for health.
