Despite these limitations, one can see a positive outlook because there are signs of change suggest that the time is coming to start a green revolution in this sector. The first step will be a cultural change, businesses and consumers, while a strong impetus to this process could be given by the definition of an international standard for the realization of sustainable events.
Within a few years, therefore, it is expected that most of the Italian companies will begin to implement a more attentive environmental policy for events.
