It has been a few days after the close of Expo Milan 2015 and it is time to take stock.
Saturday, October 31 with a special closing ceremony has archived the Italian edition of the Universal Exposition, to give us an appointment in Dubai in 2020.
In an exhibition area of 1.1 million square meters, more than 140 countries have displayed the best of their traditions, cultures and technologies, to give a response to a vital need: Feeding the Planet, namely being able to provide healthy food, sufficient and safe for all peoples of the Earth.
They have been exceeded 20 million visitors and the exhibition has reached the finish line on the front of the inflow with 21 million visitors.
2 hours and 45 minute wait on average to visit the pavilions; 88% of visitors considered the visit as a positive experience.
An initial survey, conducted by Coldiretti /Ixe presented last October 26 at the Forum on the legacy from the event, showed that:
• 52% of visitors to Expo was a one-time, 35% two times, 11% three times and finally a 2% even 4 times;
• 28% of visitors under 34 years old, 39% are aged between 34 and 54 years old, 33% are over 55 years;
• 53% of the visitors are men and 47% women;
• The 64% comes from the north of the country, 16% from the center and 20% from the South and Islands;
• 2.3 billion Euros spent to visit the Universal Exposition (including travel, entry, accommodation and other expenses);
• 27 euro on average spent on food;
• The favorite cuisine is Italian.
These are some most important numbers of the event, that as confirmed by statistics, he has experienced great success.
