Alarm and controversy on Vaccines | eatparade
In Italy today are dying because of diseases to whom science has given an answer: the vaccine.
Are decreasing considerably mothers who vaccinate their children and this collapse raises the risk of epidemics and diseases now defeats. They are vaccinations that until a few years ago were mandatory as hepatitis B, diphtheria, polio, tetanus, and other expressly recommended as measles, rubella and meningitis. It is likely to find ourselves vulnerable in front of an outbreak, a risk that unfortunately has become concrete. To say it is the World Health Organization.
For this reason, the institutions are wondering if reintroducing the obligation of vaccines and so the controversy is erupted. Better to risk having vaccine damage or protect against the disease?
The answer to this question can give only the numbers. For meningitis, preventable disease through vaccines, each year get sick from the 1000/1500 Italian, of these 10% will die, 150 are therefore preventable deaths. Another question is: why make vaccines for diseases that we do not exist anymore?
We live in a world where you travel a lot so it is clear that the germs in turn circulate. The displacement of people (for tourism, for the needs, etc.) Is definitely an increased risk factor for almost all infectious diseases. Diseases that there are still in other parts of the world and this drop of vaccinations exposes us to great risks. Yet in Italy, there are some doctors who do not agree on vaccinations. They show that there are unvaccinated children who enjoy better health than children vaccinated. According to many experts, however, opinions are absolutely without scientific evidence.
