Some say it is even the world’s best sandwich. We are talking about the Lobster roll, the lobster sandwich become synonymous with luxury in fast version. Typical of the East Coast of the United States, today the iconic sandwich is increasingly appreciated in Italy where it is becoming a new gastronomic craze.

Last June, for three weeks, McDonald’s has added its menu along with other limited edition sandwiches during the first days of Expo Milano 2015. On September 25, when Americans celebrate every year the National Lobster Day, in the pavilion had been sold more than 23,000 servings of dishes of the tasty crustacean.
In Milan, then, the lobster roll is literally went like hot cakes.
Now the sandwich is most desired of the moment, everyone is talking about and everyone wants it. After the cheesecake, Italy is seduced by the latest dish made in the USA. Jailbird was the Milan Expo and the pavilion of the United States that this summer saw the sold out of lobster roll.
Once status- symbol of luxury, now the lobster has finally democratized and the Lobster roll like more and more to the Italians.
