There are many films that deal with the most diverse environmental arguments, such as recycling waste, climate change, the extinction of animal species, etc. In this article, here are some examples of films, shorts and documentaries green of which is recommended viewing.
The Green Planet. It is a film to reflect upon our civilization. Imagine a planet where the inhabitants live in harmony with each other and with nature, where there is not money and life is based solely on agriculture, where there are no cars, traffic and pollution, in which all have direct access and equal access to natural resources.
A world in peril. It ‘a documentary of a search lasting five years in different countries: the United States to China, from Switzerland to Australia. It focuses on high bee mortality, on the problems of agriculture today that are the cause of the deaths of bees, without which we will not have food.
Samsara. It ‘a documentary filmed in 2011 for five years to document the reality of intensive farming in 25 countries. Chickens, pigs, cattle: the protagonists are victims of the cruelty of the men who placed them in industrial cycles in which only represent a commodity.
The fifth season. This film is a metaphor on the eternal struggle between Man and Nature. A mysterious calamity befalls on a village: trees fall, the seeds do not germinate, the wood does not burn, the ground is more and more arid, and the supplies are scarce. The plot follows the flow of life in the country where suddenly spring not arrived, and the prolonged winter disrupts the entire ecosystem.
An Inconvenient Truth. It ‘a documentary film about the worldwide problem of global warming which has as its protagonist the former vice president of the United States, Al Gore. He won the 2007 Oscar for Best Documentary.
