UNICEF: Children’s workshops

According to the School Project EXPO 2015 and the UN-EXPO, UNICEF Italy has organized, at Palazzo Italy, workshops for children on health and nutrition in two different moments of the exhibition period: 1-16 July 9-24 October. We will try to play the same format of the workshops that will take place in schools, excluding, however, the final part that would see the children involved in food preparation. We will replace it with a project that has more than 20 years with us: the realization of Pigotta, a special doll that can save the life of a child in a developing country. Anyone can take a Pigotta and support UNICEF and its lifesaving programs West and Central Africa. Each Pigotta opens a circle of solidarity that unites those who have made the doll, who has adopted the child and that, thanks to UNICEF, it will be included in a program to combat child malnutrition.Apart from the development of Pigotta there will be various fun activities depending on the age of the visitors focused on learning more and to a healthy diet.
