The pancakes, American pancakes are soft, usually prepared for breakfast. It is a simple and fast preparation, in order to enjoy them warm and soft.
The original recipe also includes the American seal with maple syrup, but you can garnish it to suit your preferences (melted chocolate and cream, caramel and fresh fruit to taste, honey, jam, etc.).
Ingredients for 5 pancakes of 15 cm:
– 150 grams of flour 00
– 200 ml of milk
– 4 g yeast vanilla cake paneangeli (6 grams or without added bicarbonate)
– 2 grams of bicarbonate
– 1 medium egg
– 40 g butter
– 20 grams of sugar
– a pinch of salt
Start preparing slamming the egg with sugar, add the milk and melted butter; add flour, baking powder, baking soda and a pinch of salt; mix well by mixing all the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and quite thick.
To cook the pancakes, you have to pay the center of the pan a ladle not full of dough and cook over low heat for a few minutes; when on the surface will form small bubbles must flip the pancake and cook for another 2 minutes.
Once cooked, you must have the pancakes on each other and garnish with maple syrup.
